The foundation has also taught teenagers about computer programming, based on Nexon's experience in developing popular games, such as MapleStory, KartRider and Crazy Arcade. In addition, Nexon Foundation has run programs to teach coding to preschoolers and students with disabilities.

Based on this success, Nexon Foundation is currently offering the education program to over 28,000 students in Incheon, South Jeolla Province and Jeju Island, providing them with 7,000 sets of toy bricks to aid in learning to code. After launching the program, Nexon Foundation made efforts for children living nationwide to learn about coding more easily.ĭuring its test operation in 2021, the program received favorable reviews from students in 115 classes nationwide. In 2020, the foundation sponsored the ATC's development of the High-5ive Challenge, an education program created to help children learn about computer programming by using toy bricks. Nexon Foundation seeks additional cooperation with education offices in other provinces so as to narrow the regional gap related to coding education. The agreement came after the foundation signed similar MOUs with the education offices of South Jeolla Province and Jeju Island. The nonprofit organization founded by the gaming firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) about the provision of the classes with the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education and the Association of Teachers for Computing (ATC) on June 7.
